Road Tripping: A Week, Four Cameras and a Well-Traveled Mom-Van

By Leta Dickinson It's a long drive from the San Francisco Bay Area to Los Angeles. 378.2 miles, or around five-and-a-half hours with no traffic. But there's always traffic. It's L.A. after all.

This past summer, my two friends and I embarked on this journey to Southern California and back, armed with camping gear, a Honda Odyssey, three digital cameras and a film camera. We managed to stretch this drive into a weeklong road trip. Needless to say, we captured some pretty epic moments both on and off the road. Here are some of the highlights.
