Photo Slideshow: Farmers’ Market makes its season debut in downtown Evanston

The Evanston Farmer’s Market opened for the season on May 9th and will return every Saturday until Nov. 7th from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The market’s location on the intersection of University Place and Oak Ave (behind Hilton Garden Inn) places it only 5 minutes from the southern end of campus. The bustling atmosphere contains vendors selling their fares, customers looking for the best fresh produce, and numerous free samples. With as many as 58 vendors, the choice of what to purchase can be overwhelming. But with a little patience, local treasures can be discovered. Check out the pictures below to see some of the things offered at the Farmers’ Market!
